Congratulations on the book Robert. It looks very interesting, and is easy to order from LuLu, (even if a tad expensive for overseas customers).
It looks as though you have taken your very best work, and concentrated it with some new tools, towards a specific outcome, i.e. the dreaded crunch.
The vendor, lulu, has a preview section, within which one can see the introductions, (isn't 11ish pages of quotes a bit much?) easy to understand contents, a starter on FIMO and then - abruptly nothing!...
Amazon has a "surpise me" preview which allows one to sample quality of information within. I understand though that this facility costs a lot more up front.
So, in light of the aforementioned, would you mind giving us a good overview, and perhaps even a sample to download? This would then allow those of us 'un-chosen ones,' - yes, the unfortunate expatriates subjected to the exchange rates, to no doubt become incredibly excited at the prospect of ordering the book.
Good luck, and thank you in anticipation...

Very sad news about Robert Craven. He contributed so much to business, he'll be missed. Our thoughts are with his family.

So nothing about the enquiry then! Well, for those unfortunate expats about to consider buying the book -LuLu may be better for the writer, but this certainly does not translate into value or service for the purchaser.
The problem is, the print version carries huge shipping (+500% over USPS cost for the basic, no track, gets lost-you lose service!) rates even though LuLU has print capabilities near my geographical region in the US.
So, the solution is that the pdf is the best way to purchase if overseas; fast, easy and one can print the sections or all as the need arises. It also seems a bargain at a tenner sterling.
However, that is where the value stops dead.
Rather than charge an actual or indeed fair exchange rate for the pdf book, i.e. approx USD$15 at todays rates, it is charging an unfair $17.24 for the download!
So LuLu may be a good idea for some, but certainly not for the proposed end-user.
I wonder RC, did you test purchase this book to see what would happen for the customer?
Call me pond-life if you must, but I, for one, although a loyal past-customer of your books, will not be buying from LuLu on sheer principal! They are rip off merchants of the highest order.
Glad to hear you are alive and well RC!
